A.B.W. Landscape Design
Landscaping is an outdoor extension of your home. These areas might include a living area, children’s play areas, work area, public or entertaining area, entrances, and flower garden or vegetable garden areas.
Our approach is to listen to you, and work with you to design and build outdoor living areas that turn your dream into reality.
The design of your front and backyard landscaping and hard landscaping, require consideration of many factors to result in a balanced, successful design.
Ohio Climate: At A.B.W. Landscaping, LLC, we work closely with local plant growers to assure compatibility between plants selected and Ohio climate. If you’ve ever bought an ornamental tree or other landscape plant from a “Big Box” retailer, you have probably learned that such sellers often do not carefully consider the local conditions before offering plants for sale.
Slope and drainage: With proper landscape planning, it is possible to alter grade and slopes significantly. It may require a drainage system, steps or terracing. Proper drainage is critical to the success of the entire landscape; in fact it can be critical to your house as well!
Neighbors: You might need to screen your property to block undesirable views or increase privacy between you and your neighbors.
Existing plants and trees: It can often be preferable to retain mature trees and shrubs; existing shrubs and trees and their relation to the new design should be carefully considered.
Noise: Trees and shrubs, walls, rocks and fences can all be used to significantly reduce unwanted noise from roads.
Municipal regulations and services: Local regulations of factors such as heights, wall types and structures impact landscape design. Existing water pipes, sewer pipes, gas lines, and underground cable all influence where and how you can place landscape features.
At A.B.W. Landscaping, LLC, our design and installation experience assures you that the outdoor living solution we create with you is a successful and balanced design.
