At A.B.W. Landscaping, LLC, we take our role in the local ecology seriously.

Invasive plants are typically an issue in natural areas rather than in a managed and landscaped property in Ohio. Despite that, it’s worth learning about invasive species and keeping an eye out for them on your property. Ask anyone who has battled Multiflora Rose- the sooner you spot and deal with invasive plants, the better!

Garlic Mustard (Alliaria Petiolata) seems to be almost everywhere. At least you can eat this invasive species.

A plant is considered non-native when it has been introduced by people to locations outside its native or natural range. At least one-third of over 2,700 plant species known in Ohio are non-native (approximately 900), fortunately, fewer than 100 are documented to be invasive in Ohio.
